About Me

My vision is that diversification in education and experience promotes success and wellbeing throughout our actuarial journey. My mission is to promote community-minded initiatives through charity in my life and career by blending my love for art and public speaking.I have been working in the actuarial P&C space since 2016. I am a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA). I hold a Double Honours Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Waterloo’s Co-op program.

Live Actuary is built on a simple idea: the actuarial journey is demanding, but we don’t have to walk it alone. The brand exists to continue building a community where we can share strategies for balancing success, thereby living our lives along the way.What started as a personal project blending art, public speaking, and the realities of actuarial work has grown into a space to explore the full experience of becoming an Actuary. From study habits and time management to mental well-being, professional growth, and even the occasional insurance deep dive, Live Actuary is about supporting each other in our individual journeys.The long-term vision for Live Actuary is to keep growing a community rooted in charity, collaboration, and lifting each other up when times are at their toughest. It’s a quiet echo of what insurance is meant to do and exactly what we are trained to build.
